Florence (Kachadurian) Der Bogosian

BRADFORD: Florence (Kachadurian) Der Bogosian, 78, passed away in her home on June 27, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Florence succumbed to cancer following a twenty year valiant battle. She was the wife of Highgaz "Hy" Der Bogosian.

Born in Paterson, NJ on November 2, 1933, Mrs. Der Bogosian was the daughter of the late Richard and Victoria
(Chavooshian) Kachadurian. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1952.

After marring Hy in 1956, she quickly settled into Haverhill where she raised her four children. She was an active member of the community including Rotary Anns, Women's City Club of Haverhill, Cedardale Health and Fitness Club, and the former Haverhill Arts and Crafts Society. Her faith to the Lord was evidenced through many years as an active member of the First Baptist Church.

Florence took the time to observe the beauty around her. She always saw the good in the world. Simple joys celebrated
with family and friends always brought her happiness. Whether she was vacationing in her travel trailer, her home
in Naples, FL or visiting her family, she always had a positive outlook.

Florence was a devoted loving wife and mother. In addition to her husband of fifty-six years, she is survived by her
children, Victoria & Jeffrey Lewis, Michael & Jennifer Der Bogosian, Gregory Der Bogosian, all of Haverhill and
Alexandra & Greg Johnson of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and several loving grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Thomas Kachadurian.

Arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment at Linwood Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church, 217 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830, or to her grandson with Cerebral Palsy, Julian Der Bogosian. Checks can be made to
