Priscilla L. McNally
HAMPTON, NH: Priscilla L. McNally, 77, formerly of Haverhill, died April 18, 2011 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Boston, MA on January 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Louise (Shankle) (McNally) White.
Priscilla graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1951, and continued her education at Bradford College where she received her degree in Liberal Arts. In 1954 she was among the first women to win The Hampton Beach Beauty Pageant.
She was the founder and owner of McNally School of Dance where she taught tap, ballet, jazz, musical theater and ballroom dancing for fifty-six years until October of 2010. She was a member of the I.S.T.D. of England, and had been teaching ballroom dancing at Northern Essex Community College for the past fifteen years.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Cheryl Mainiero and her husband Ernest, Charles and Phillip Boetti;
grandchildren, Rachael Mainiero Carter and Janelle Mainiero, all of Hampton, NH, and her longtime companion, Bart Bratko of Natick.
Relative and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, April 22nd at 12:30 p.m., at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. Interment at Linwood Cemetery will be private.
