Anna R. (Moulton) Perkins

OVIEDO, FL: Anna R. (Moulton) Perkins, 87, formerly of Haverhill and Newton, MA, died May 8th in Altamont Springs, FL.


Born in Haverhill November 23, 1919, Mrs. Perkins was the daughter of the late Haverhill Mayor Edwin H. and Anna (Hubbard) Moulton.


Anna was a 1937 graduate of Haverhill High School and earned her B.S. from the University of New Hampshire. After several movers early in her husband’s career they settled in Newton, MA for forty years. Anna was a dietician, housewife and devoted mother. Following her husband’s death in 1991, she moved to Oviedo to be closer to her children. Anna was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, nana and friend. She belonged to many patriotic and social organizations, including the D.A.R. and O.E.S. She was very interested in history and a strong supporter of education. Although Anna has gone to a better place, free of the indignity of illness, her family and many friends miss her very much.


Survivors include her daughter, Helen A. French of Oviedo, FL; her son Harry M. Perkins of San Antonio, FL; her three grandchildren, Kelly Anne French, Victoria French White, and Robert J. French. Also surviving Anna are her son-in-law, Richard R. French; two grandson’s-law, Ty S. White and Mario Santana; three great granddaughters, Madison A. White, Hannah O. White and Lauryn E. White. She also has a surviving cousin David W. Goodwin of Merrimacport, MA.


Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Tuesday at 12:00 at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Linwood Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 11 -12. Online condolence may be sent to
